Training for Business Requirements

training for business requirements

Training for business requirements is essential for establishing a knowledge base and organizational culture capable of turning policies into actions.  Appropriate training must be provided to personnel at all levels within an organization along with refreshers courses to ensure competency.

Training for Quality Management Systems

ISO 9001 requires that an organization provide the necessary resources to establish, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).  These resources include people that have the knowledge required for the operation of processes and achieving conformity of products and services.  Required knowledge includes organizational knowledge which is organizational specific information gathered from experience and an understanding of the requirements of the QMS.

Training for Export Compliance

Training is a requirement for businesses conducting exports of good, services, and technologies controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  This training should both foster a culture of compliance and provide the necessary knowledge to prevent unintentional violation of regulations.

In cases where voluntary self-disclosures for violations are required, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s export compliance program.  Both agencies consider an effective training program to be a key element of these programs.

CVG Strategy offers a one-day webinar Export Compliance Basics Training that provides an overview of the ITAR and the EAR.  This training includes instruction and exercises on how to classify products, services, and their associated technical data.

MIL-STD-810 Webinar

U.S. Department of Defense Test Method Standard MIL-STD-810 Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests is a testing standard that uses laboratory methods to replicate the effects of environmental stresses on components designed for military applications.  This test standard does not stipulate exact methodologies or pass/fail criteria but instead emphasizes tailoring test procedures that are expected in the life cycle of the product.

CVG Strategy offers a two day course Understanding MIL-STD-810 that examines the 29 methods of the standard and examines the requirements for establishing a test tailoring process.
